Well, my name is Anne and I suppose that is a good place to start. I am a frosh at Fordham University in the Bronx and I use this blog as not only a way to record my life and have it to look at later but also for my parents and friends to see what I hope are pretty photos. I am originally from Arizona. I grew up in a small town outside of Tucson on a dirt road. I love Arizona and have never seen better sunsets and sunrises then I have there.
I came to Fordham on an Army ROTC scholarship. I have always been a fan of New York City and toured the school for the first time my high school sophomore year. I don't remember how I came across it in my college search, but it was always on the top of my list since then. It was a bit crazy though because that first day, the subway let my mother and I out in the middle of Bronx and we trekked our way to Rose Hill a little unsure but now, it is where I will be getting my undergraduate degree (hopefully!).
I am left handed and really clumsy. I like running. Actually, I like long distance running. If you ask me to sprint or do anything under two miles, I will not be a happy camper. My goal is to run a marathon. I also am inherently a band geek. I focus on mallet percussion - xylophone and vibraphone. My actual first instrument was trumpet and in high school I played the mellophone before getting a chance at drum major. Band and music is such a large part of my life and I love it.
I love being creative!
